1.6 V nanogenerator for mechanical energy harvesting using PZT nanofibers.
Energy harvesting technologies that are engineered to miniature sizes, while still increasing the power delivered to wireless electronics, (1, 2) portable devices, stretchable electronics, (3) and implantable biosensors, (4, 5) are strongly desired. Piezoelectric nanowire- and nanofiber-based generators have potential uses for powering such devices through a conversion of mechanical energy into...
متن کاملTemplate-assisted extrusion of biopolymer nanofibers under physiological conditions.
Biomedical applications ranging from tissue engineering to drug delivery systems require versatile biomaterials based on the scalable and tunable production of biopolymer nanofibers under physiological conditions. These requirements can be successfully met by a novel extrusion process through nanoporous aluminum oxide templates, which is presented in this study. With this simple method we are a...
متن کاملBiofunctionalized Nanofibers Using Arthrospira (Spirulina) Biomass and Biopolymer
Electrospun nanofibers composed of polymers have been extensively researched because of their scientific and technical applications. Commercially available polyhydroxybutyrate (PHB) and polyhydroxybutyrate-co-valerate (PHB-HV) copolymers are good choices for such nanofibers. We used a highly integrated method, by adjusting the properties of the spinning solutions, where the cyanophyte Arthrospi...
متن کاملElectrospun ion gel nanofibers for flexible triboelectric nanogenerator: electrochemical effect on output power.
A simple fabrication route for ion gel nanofibers in a triboelectric nanogenerator was demonstrated. Using an electrospinning technique, we could fabricate a large-area ion gel nanofiber mat. The triboelectric nanogenerator was demonstrated by employing an ion gel nanofiber and the device exhibited an output power of 0.37 mW and good stability under continuous operation.
متن کاملElectrospun Chitosan-Gelatin Biopolymer Composite Nanofibers for Horseradish Peroxidase Immobilization in a Hydrogen Peroxide Biosensor
A biosensor based on chitosan-gelatin composite biopolymers nanofibers is found to be effective for the immobilization of horseradish peroxidase to detect hydrogen peroxide. The biopolymer nanofibers were fabricated by an electrospining technique. Upon optimization of synthesis parameters, biopolymers nanofibers, an average of 80 nm in diameter, were obtained and were then modified on the worki...
